Concept Paper of Video Art

Title: “Introvert”

Idea: My idea is based on Social anxiety; in the society we face different kind of people with different kind of problem. Public speaking is one of them. A man finds it difficult to talk in a public. But I think when somebody inspires him and put hand on his shoulder. Then he can do it with ease. Then he rises and give speech, sings, perform in front of the public.

The tittle is making from tree leaf, lied on the floor.

Camera angle: Down angle and focused on to the title.

Background Music:


Message : Tree leaves are represented as a human. Humans are lied on the floor with fear.


Other messages : Leaves also represents as society, lots of people crowded together.


Shot: 2
A small tree floating on the air.

Camera angle: Up angle focused on the tree head
Background Sound : Air sound & A man sound.

Message : People talks, sings, performs alone. A tree represents as a human being.

Other messages : A tree is happy alone. Decisions can be taken alone.


Shot: 3
Another different kind of tree and first tree are both in the frame. But only different kind of tree floating on the air. Suddenly first tree falls on the ground.


Camera angle: Up angle focused on the tree head
Background Sound : Auditorium Sound.

Message : A human feels shy, or gets fear in front of the public. Other tree represents as other human, or maybe crowded area.

Other messages : Happy tree felt nervous to tell his/her decision. Society is not telling him to talk about his/her needs.

Water drops over fallen tree, & slowly the tree stands up again. then all tree floating on the air.
Camera angle: Up angle focused on the tree head
Background Sound : Water sound, Auditorium Sound, Cheers Sound

Message : Water represents as energy, brave, and the human starts again to sings, talk, perform in front of other human, audience.

Other messages : Water representing energy, let him to follow his decision. All what the tree needed was support which is represented by water.
